I believe that we are moving closer to a time when Western medicine and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) will become one.

Where the body, mind, and spirit will be seen as a whole, and treated as such.

And where Western medicine and CAM work together seamlessly, united by the shared values of curiosity, recognition, respect, and the patient's highest good.

I have been amazed by Western medicine and seen it save lives.

I have also been amazed by CAM as it supports the body, mind, and spirit during the healing process.

When both work together, it is more than powerful.  It can be astounding.

With this disclaimer, I am also reaching out.

In good faith, I am following the laws that govern my work by providing this information.  I don't want to hide my work.  I want to be part of the change that unites us.

It is my deepest hope that my intention to unite will set the tone for others to do the same.

Website Disclaimer

Welcome to EnergyofGrace.com where Beth Larsen offers her services to animals and humans as a Shamanic Energy Medicine Practitioner. This Disclaimer contains important information to share with you and for you to understand. Please be advised of the following:

The information contained on this website, including ideas, suggestions, techniques, methods, services, and other materials, is educational in nature and is provided only as general information and is not medical or psychological advice.

Transmission of the information presented on this website is not intended to create, and receipt does not constitute, a practitioner-client relationship between Beth Larsen and the visitor and should not be relied upon as medical, psychological, veterinary, or other professional advice of any kind or nature.

By viewing this website, you understand you will be introduced to the Energy of Grace a method developed by Beth Larsen that combines several energy balancing modalities, including Energy Medicine, Animal Communication, and Shamanic Processes (the “Energy Methods”). Energy Methods is a collective term used to refer to a variety of alternative healing techniques, approaches, and methods based on the use and modification of energy fields and other intuitive assessments and spiritual processes intended to promote health and well-being. Energy Medicine techniques seek to address imbalances within an animal’s or a person’s energy system, as well as the energetic influence of thoughts, beliefs, and emotions on the body. The premise is when imbalances in the energy system are corrected and in alignment, it can restore health and well-being. Animal Communication is an intuitive process intended to tune into the animal to receive information from the animal regarding the particular issue(s) presented. Shamanic Processes are intended to access spiritual realms to seek guidance from the compassionate Spirits in order to address specific issues, problems, or questions. A shamanic practitioner operates primarily within the spiritual world, which in turn can affect the human world. The theory of the Energy Methods is that the flow and balance of the body’s electromagnetic and more subtle energies and accessing spiritual realms are important for physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional health, and for fostering well-being.

Although the Energy Methods appear to have promising emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical health benefits, and Shamanic Processes have been practiced by indigenous cultures for centuries, they are considered outside traditional Western approaches to health and wellness and have yet to be fully researched by the Western academic, medical, and psychological communities. Therefore, the Energy Methods are considered experimental and the extent of their effectiveness, as well as its risks and benefits, are not fully known. The Energy Methods are self-regulated and the State of Oregon does not license any practitioners of the Energy Methods and considers them to be alternative or complementary to the healing arts that are licensed by the State of Oregon.

While Beth Larsen has extensive experience as a Shamanic Energy Medicine Practitioner and is a Certified Shamanic Energy Medicine Health Coach, she is not a veterinarian, physician, psychologist, or other licensed health care practitioner and her services are not licensed by the State of Oregon. However, if you are a resident of Oregon and your animal has been diagnosed with an animal medical problem, Oregon’s Veterinary Practice Act does allow Beth Larsen, as a practitioner of alternative and complementary methods, to work with your animal with a referral from your veterinarian.

Any information presented on this website about the Energy Methods is not intended to represent that they are used to diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent any veterinary or medical problem or psychological disorder nor are the Energy Methods intended as a substitute for seeking professional health care advice. Beth Larsen strongly advises that you seek professional advice as appropriate before making any health decision for you or your animal.

Although Energy Medicine uses the term “medicine” and the Energy Methods are intended for “healing”, it is not to be construed that the use of the Energy Methods is the practice of medicine, veterinary medicine, psychotherapy, or other licensed health care practice. You understand when using Energy Methods with a client, Beth Larsen is not “diagnosing” or “treating” the physical body but instead is connecting spirit-to-spirit with the client and to the energy or subtle “bodies” of the client that makes it possible to manifest a change or transformation which then may be experienced directly by the client. Therefore, you understand there is a distinction between “healing” using the Energy Methods and the practice of medicine, psychotherapy, veterinary medicine, or any other licensed health care practice.
